Catering for all levels of ability including, novice, intermediate, disabled and experienced, Alice and the team at Grenaby Estates Equestrian are passionate about horses and riding and will work with you to ensure you get the most out of your time with them.

Alice can offer riding lessons on one of the centres beautiful horses for £35 for 30 minutes or £45 for 45 minutes, including hat and boot hire.

Douglas Bay Horse Tramway, Douglas Promenade 

Did you know you can visit the magnificent tram horses in their stables?  Regular free guided tours of the stables will give you the opportunity to meet the horses and learn about their daily routines as well as the history of the tramway.  Visitors are also welcome at the stables outside scheduled tour times. Home of Rest for Old Horses, Richmond Hill, Douglas 

The Home of Rest for Old Horses has over 90 acres of land, over sixty horses and ponies and eleven donkeys.  There is a café serving homemade cakes, scones, teas and coffees and a gift shop selling all and sundry including horse food so you can go and feed the horses yourselves.
